Terms of Service

Welcome to KidCue.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KidCue mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using KidCue, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.


1. Description of Service

KidCue provides a routine and visual scheduling platform designed to help caregivers manage daily activities through visual cues. While the App is designed to be child-friendly, the Service is intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, and caregivers). Any use of the App by a child must be under the direct supervision of an adult user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use KidCue or purchase a subscription. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the full legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Content and Privacy

  • Ownership: You retain full ownership of all photos, text, and data you upload to create routines (“User Content”).
  • Limited License: You grant KidCue a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process your User Content solely to provide the Service's functionality.
  • Data Storage: Most User Content is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account. You acknowledge that KidCue does not host your photos or routines on its own servers and is not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure or iCloud sync issues.
  • Privacy: Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use Mixpanel for analytics.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Payments: Paid features are billed through the Apple App Store. All financial transactions are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Refunds: You must manage subscriptions and request refunds directly through your Apple ID settings. KidCue has no authority to issue refunds for App Store transactions.

KidCue offers auto-renewable subscriptions available through the Apple App Store.

  • Subscription plans: Monthly and Yearly
  • Pricing: Subscription prices are determined by Apple and may vary by region
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use KidCue only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

  • Upload any content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the privacy rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service.
  • Use the Service to create automated accounts or scrape data.

6. Intellectual Property

The KidCue name, logo, UI design, and all proprietary software are the exclusive property of KidCue. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our branding or intellectual property beyond personal, non-commercial use of the App.

7. Disclaimers

  • "As-Is" Basis: KidCue is provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
  • Not Professional Advice: KidCue is a supportive tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or educational professional advice. It is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment.
  • Analytics: We use Mixpanel to monitor app performance and usage trends. We do not use analytics for advertising or tracking across other apps.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidCue and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages. In no event shall our total liability exceed the total amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms. You may terminate these Terms by deleting the App and canceling any active subscriptions.
