KidCue (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the KidCue mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Important Note: KidCue is a productivity tool intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, and caregivers). It is not directed at, or intended for use by, children under the age of 13 without adult involvement.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve KidCue’s core functionality.

a. User-Generated Content (Stored Locally/iCloud)

To provide visual routines, the App processes:

• Visual Cues: Photos you capture or upload to represent activities.
• Routine Data: Names of schedules, step descriptions, and activity completion status.
• Storage: This data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, it is synced via your personal Apple iCloud account. We do not host this content on our own servers.

b. Usage and Technical Data (Analytics)

To improve app stability and user experience, we collect limited analytics data through Mixpanel:

• Identifiers: App-specific instance IDs used to recognize sessions (not personally identifiable).
• Usage Behavior: Feature usage frequency, session duration, and navigation paths.
• Technical Logs: Device model, OS version, and crash/performance diagnostics.

We do not collect precise or approximate location for analytics.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

• Operate the Service: Ensure routines sync and display correctly.
• Product Improvement: Analyze aggregated, de-identified usage trends to decide which new features to build.
• Customer Support: Respond to your inquiries when you contact us via email.

We do not sell your data or use your content (photos/routine names) for advertising or profiling.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We share limited data with service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the App:

• Analytics (Mixpanel): We use Mixpanel to understand app performance and usage trends. Data is used only for internal analytics and is not sold.
• Cloud Infrastructure (Apple iCloud): If you use sync features, your data is handled by Apple under their privacy standards.

4. Photos and Image Privacy

Your photos are yours.

• Processing: Image processing occurs on-device or in secure, temporary environments required for app functionality.
• No Human Review: We do not access, view, or use your photos for any purpose other than displaying them within your App.

5. Your Rights and Data Retention

• Data Control: Your data is stored on your device or in your personal iCloud (if enabled). You can delete it at any time by removing routines or deleting the App.
• No Account Required: KidCue does not require an account, and we do not store your content on our servers.

6. Compliance

• Age Rating: KidCue is rated 4+ for content suitability, but the App's features and data collection are designed for adult users.
• No Cross-App Tracking: We do not participate in "Tracking" as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
